Acre is supporting the search for a Senior Communications Officer.

In this role, you will work closely with the Director, Communications and team of three communications specialists to take a leading role in creating social media content, and developing plans to share ICMM's messaging, stories and work across global channels.

In this role you will be:

  • Developing and managing monthly social media content calendars

  • Developing and managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

  • Providing social and digital communications leadership to each of the organisational projects

  • Taking the lead from an integrated communications perspective as 'communications business partner' on specific projects, ensuring smooth planning, injecting creativity, leveraging milestones for external communications and delivering against agreed objectives

  • Producing and commissioning creative content that helps to connect with global sustainability influencers beyond traditional mining audiences.

You'll have:

  • Digital communications experience including social media community management, content development and digital advertising

  • External or internal communications planning and project management experience

  • Experience sourcing, researching and writing creative, engaging stories

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and people management skills

  • Experience of establishing and managing effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders in order to deliver activities
