HomeSun has a long pedigree in sustainable energy solutions and of inventing wholly new market segments. They are now building a new business-to-business solar PV proposition focussed on the rooftops of commercial and industrial buildings. As partners in power, HomeSun can revolutionise commercial and industrial rooftops for the benefit of the asset owners, investors, tenants, and the planet. And their ambitions go beyond solar - there is a wider opportunity around electrification including battery storage and EV-charging.

Based in London, this new Senior Consultant will build out HomeSun's service offering - helping clients across Europe to deliver solar technologies (and others in due course) across these portfolios. This person will be working alongside the founders / directors to support internal corporate development and external, end client delivery.

The Senior Consultant will be responsible for:

Internally:

  • Evaluating sub-contractor supply chain options in EU countries

  • Assessing impact of regulatory and market changes on HomeSun's business proposition in different geographies

  • Helping to prepare external investor updates / Board papers

Externally:

  • Supporting sales team in developing / presenting proposals for institutional clients

  • Conducting solar / electrification options analysis and prioritisation for clients

  • Client reporting - project updates and solar asset performance reporting

To be successful in this role, they will have:

  • 4-6 years working in a consulting environment, with most of this experience in the energy sector. Ideally this experience would include exposure to multiple European markets

  • Strong analytical and written/verbal presentation skills

  • Understanding of regulations and incentives for low carbon energy / EV-charging / battery storage in any UK/EU jurisdictions would be a bonus

  • Self-starter, organised, experience in renewable energy, team player, ambitious
