Senior Consultant - Environmental Design

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to fill the role of a senior consultant with a specialisation in environmental design to support their growing professional sustainability consultancy team. Whilst the role has a focus on the design of sustainable buildings, an understanding of whole building lifecycle processes and opportunities is vital for our client's portfolio. Responsibilities:

​

  • Utilise energy simulation software for building optimisation and analysis such as IES-VE and EnergyPlus

  • Ability to provide net zero carbon strategy advice to individual buildings / projects, whilst aligning with and optimising broader net zero portfolio level strategies

  • Apply in-depth understanding of advanced commercial HVAC systems and building fabric to evaluate options, simulate performance, develop recommendations, prepare financial analyses, and present to clients

  • Excellent project management skills, serving as point of contact for clients, planning budgets, programme, resourcing, tracking deliverables, and producing or delegating work to meet deadlines

Skills & Experience:

​

  • Engineering or architecture degree with relevant Masters degree.

  • Professional engineering affiliation such as CIBSE, Low Carbon Consultant, ASHRAE etc.

  • Experience of IES-VE software and application in UK and European market.

  • Depth of technical knowledge of sustainability issues and application to real estate.
