Sage's brilliant sustainability team is growing, and fast. Sage wants to build a diverse, dynamic and high performing team of sustainability experts who can support the design and execution of its sustainability vision and strategy.

Responsibilities:

​

  • This person will report directly into the Sustainability EVP and will have two direct reports.

  • They will operate at all levels of the organisation from C-suite to shop floor and will support the EVP's engagement with key external stakeholders such as investors and the media.

  • They will support the EVP in helping Sage become a leader and thought leader in this space.

  • What's more, they will design and implement Sage's Climate Strategy as part of the company's broader sustainability strategy. This includes delivering a strategy and implementation plan, monitoring performance, and reporting progress to the relevant stakeholders.

  • They will work closely with the Sustainability EVP and relevant internal and external stakeholders, particularly the procurement, facilities, Risk and comms teams.

  • They will go beyond climate risk to consider related opportunities, strategic partnerships, and Sage's ambition as it will be a key enabler of the Sustainability Strategy.

  • This individual will also lead on the identification, governance, and execution of strategic initiatives linked to this Strategy ensuring alignment with wider Corporate Strategy.

  • They will monitor and report on performance against targets and communicate climate change and environmental issues to stakeholders.
