Schneider Electric is at the forefront of the development and delivery of strategic solutions to address climate action, sustainability consulting, data and resource management, renewable energy procurement and supply chain decolonisation.

For the sustainability reporting and compliance team, which delivers high-level sustainability data and reporting solutions to global clients, they are looking for a Senior Manager of Sustainability Reporting for the EMEA region.

The Senior Manager EMEA will lead and manage Schneider Electric's European-based reporting services and support their associated technology evolution. They will report to the Global Director of Reporting, Compliance, and Analysis.

Your key responsibilities in this role are to:

  • Develop, maintain, evolve, and innovate sustainability reporting services with a focus on maintaining and enhancing service delivery with established global standards.

  • Lead an EU-based team of sustainability professionals at multiple levels of tenure to effectively manage and deliver client solutions, including:

  • Development of comprehensive inventory management plans to outline environmental reporting on carbon emissions, water, waste, etc., plus broader metrics to support corporate ESG reporting.

  • Sustainability / ESG information management and technology configuration, including Resource Advisor software deployment.

  • Development and leading program management of varying implementation initiatives as part of clients' global sustainability compliance requirements such as Climate Change Agreements (CCA) in the UK, Building Energy Compliance Standards across the US, EU-Emissions Trading Scheme programs, Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) plus other miscellaneous carbon and energy compliance programs globally

  • Compliance program management and reporting/ certification support in terms of data management and support team for our Compliance team.

  • Development of reporting programs on Scope 3 / supplier programs, circularity, and other evolving sustainability topics.

  • Support and lead select deliveries of external disclosure reporting such as CDP, GRESB, NFRD, DJSI, SASB and related broad ESG reporting frameworks and rating agencies on an annual basis.

  • Build a team fostering delivery excellence, high-quality service, use of digital tools, subject matter expertise for sustainability reporting and the ability to assist in new and recurring sustainability services sales.

  • Partner with global sustainability consulting team members in developing client inventories in support of industry-leading sustainability goals, targets, and strategies.

  • Participate as "voice of the client" in discussions with Schneider Electric broader sustainability business.

Who you are and what you have

  • A strong passion to make a difference for the future of our planet.

  • 7+ years of experience with climate and decarbonisation, ESG and broader sustainability work, preferably with relevant industry software.

  • Strong (international) experience with digital sustainability reporting solutions. Proven involvement in software development is ideal.

  • A track record in a consulting environment is highly preferable - you can quickly translate client needs into implementable solutions.

  • A "Digital Citizen" with a strong desire to infuse technology solutions to evolve effectively, quality and timely service delivery.

  • You're a personable and engaging leader with good people management skills and experience with an affinity for client-facing activities.
