Senior Manager - ESG Deals

Key Roles & Responsibilities

PwC ESG Deals is working on high-profile transactions which are regularly shown in the news or press, both nationally and internationally. ESG plays an increasingly important role in these processes, and innovation is central. The business unit is driven by the purpose of changing the market. This ambition requires people that are passionate, flexible, hands-on, great networkers and bridge builders.

As Senior Manager of ESG Deals, you will have the following responsibilities:

• The role has a dual responsibility: delivery and business development

• On the delivery side: responsible for internal relations and managing a project team, central coordination to effectively manage and deliver results throughout the due-diligence processes

• Building out client relationships and involved actively in building and positioning the ESG team, both internally and externally.

• Identifying possible risks and opportunities surrounding ESG aspects so that potential buyers can make informed decisions.

• Delivering answers to the question; How do you integrate ESG in the choices about which acquisitions there will be made, what impact does that have on the value of the company and does this contribute to building a future-proof company?

• Advising clients and delivering in the financial, commercial and operational aspects of mergers, acquisitions and financing or refinancing processes.

Your Experience & Skills

You are energized by a dynamic and commercial transaction environment. You are an enthusiastic and inquisitive professional with both interest in and knowledge and experience of sustainability and ready for the next step in your career. You are interested in developments within this field, and you have an eye for what's going on within society.

This is reflected in your professional experience and training, especially in combination with:

• Strong interest and track record in project management, and client relations, ideally supplemented by quantitative and financial skills

• Senior level experience in any of the following sectors: M&A, Consultancy, Private Equity, Banking, rating agencies, certification bodies

• Experience delivering on Due Diligence

• Passionate about and experienced in the field of sustainability & ESG

• A commercial and pragmatic approach enjoys a challenge, is a creative thinker, has the capacity to convince & compel clients
