Would you like to put your knowledge and experience of sustainability to good use in Strategy, Transformation, and/or Reporting projects for the clients of PwC? And would you like to contribute actively to the building and further growth of PwC's Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) team within the Consulting division? Then this is your opportunity!

The Consulting ESG team helps clients of commercial companies to help realize their sustainability ambitions and realize and report on this. You will be part of a large, leading, and (inter)national network of ESG professionals where impact and innovation are key. As part of the ESG team of PwC's Consulting practice, you will focus primarily on leading advisory assignments focused on for example the definition and implementation of an ESG or Net Zero strategy with clients, the optimization of their non-financial information reporting process, and/or making the end-to-end supply chain of our clients more sustainable.

The ESG team advises both small and large top-tier companies in various commercial sectors like retail & consumer markets, energy, utilities & resources, industrial manufacturing & automotive and technology, and media & telecommunications.

Apart from working for clients, you are actively involved with the building and positioning of the ESG team, both internally within Consulting and PwC as well as the external set up and build-out of PwC's propositions toward clients.

Who are you?

You are an enthusiastic and inquisitive professional with both interest in and knowledge and experience of sustainability and ready for the next step in your career. You are interested in developments within this field, and you have an eye for what is going on within society. This is reflected in your professional experience and training.

This position requires you to be analytically strong, assertive with a healthy dose of motivation, and somebody who likes to take responsibility. You are creative, able to think in terms of opportunities, and like to work with clients and colleagues to solve problems together. On top of that, you find it important to keep challenging yourself and develop yourself further.

You bring the following qualifications;

  • University degree or equivalent

  • A minimum of seven years of relevant work experience

  • Demonstrable experience or interest in design, guiding, and leading (large) transformation programs, preferably related to ESG queries

  • Up to date and aware of important ESG developments, both regarding sustainability regulations and standards with regards to topics like net zero, circularity, and/or sustainable supply chains

  • Experience in the commercial sector and/or in consulting (Experience in consulting is a plus)

  • Experience with leading (project) teams

  • Enthusiasm, sharp-minded, proactive, and strong communication skills

  • Good command of English, command of Dutch is desirable
