Senior Manager, Environment and Climate - Media

Acre is partnered with one of the largest advertising firms in the world to support with hiring a Senior Environment Manager for Social Impact and Media on an initial contract.

You will work with their media service line and global social impact team to develop their approach to media decarbonisation of their supply chain. Using your expertise, you will be supporting with the development of carbon calculators and working with markets to deliver this capability to clients. This is an interim position, with the likelihood to extend and can be done remotely - ideally working in their London office once a week.

Key responsibilities include:

​

• Effectively driving the whole media decarbonisation project

• Liaising with global stakeholders such as media service line, global technology, and across a matrixed organisation

• Providing expertise on groundbreaking pathways to drive products through global market

• Presenting and creating clear updates that outline progress to clients

• Developing products using science-based targets and carbon calculations

Person Specification:

​

• Environmental expertise essential such as understanding Scope 3, carbon factors and science-based targets

• Previous experience of working on decarbonisation projects

• Strong presenting and organisational skills

• A sustainability or carbon background within a relevant industry, such as media or digital or similar
