As Chanel accelerates its sustainable business transformation, Acre is supporting with a key Senior Nature Program Manager hire, to invigorate and execute Chanel's nature commitment and programs, supporting the company to become a leader in this critical aspect of their sustainability strategy.

Your impact at Chanel:

  • Lead the company's nature-based solutions programs including their compensation portfolio, climate adaptation funds and research partnerships.

  • Work closely with the Head of Climate and Biodiversity in the evolution of the strategy of partnerships and programs, including managing the evaluation of new programs and investment opportunities.

  • Work alongside internal stakeholders in the consolidation, tracking and monitoring of nature-related indicators, target setting and roll out of nature-related policies across the House.

  • Prepare clear and concise briefings for senior management on updates on our programs and broader nature activities.

  • Develop comprehensive and relevant content for internal sustainability training modules and internal stakeholder engagement in collaboration with the Sustainability Training team.

As both an expert in technical and stakeholder engagement matters, you will be excited by the prospect of spearheading Chanel's nature work. Through this, you will have the opportunity to expand your expertise further in a corporate context, whilst developing this essential element of Chanel's sustainable transformation.

What you will bring:

  • Familiarity with Science-Based Targets Network for Nature, the Taskforce for Nature Financial Disclosures and upcoming nature-related regulations.

  • Solid foundational knowledge of the interconnectedness between climate change, nature conservation, livelihoods, and the role of local stakeholders.

  • Proven experience managing stakeholders and partnerships, and strong ability to interact and influence.

  • Experience in the design of programs to ensure effective and robust management, from partner identification, initiation, and implementation through to ongoing appraisal and providing clear feedback both internally and externally on progress.

  • Strong attention to detail combined with critical thinking.

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with experience in translating complex technical concepts into clear messaging.
