Senior Responsible Investment Manager

We are currently working with a leading pension provider seeking a Senior Responsible Investment Manager to join the business.

Our client is an award-winning pension scheme whose small and dynamic in-house responsible investment team develops and manages the scheme's approach to ESG and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Engage with senior leaders and board members on key sustainability issues.

• Undertake research and analysis on social, environmental and governance issues of companies within their portfolio.

• Lead the scheme's stewardship and reporting activities, focussing mainly on social factors.

• Maintaining high standards of reporting and engagement in line with ESG policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Significant experience working in an ESG-related role, ideally within the financial services or investment industry.

• Excellent understanding of ESG issues, themes and stewardship strategies, including proxy voting and engagement.

• Ability to analyse and evaluate company annual reports

• Experience in engaging with senior leadership and board members on sustainability issues.
