Senior Social Value Manager - £50k-£60k - Home based, can be based anywhere in the UK

Are you an established social value professional that is motivated to lead the transformation journey and social value strategy for a high profile, global construction organisation?

Our client continues to strengthen their social impact and culture, with the creation of a new position, Senior Social Value Manager. This role will play a critical part in their journey, initially focusing on a major transformation project before setting its sights on the Group wide social value strategy.

This is a strategic role that will see you working for one of the major global brand leading construction companies and is the opportunity to have ownership of a social value project that will enable the organisation to remain best in class.

In this role you will be:

  • Leading the transformation project in relation to social value, ensuring targets are met and progress is maintained.

  • Supporting the Head of Social Value with the continued development of the internal tools available as well as the Group level strategy.

  • Liaising with external stakeholders to develop key relationships for the business across the UK.

  • Acting as the point of contact for industry partners and representing the organisation at key meetings and events.

To excel in the role, you'll bring:

  • Experience in a social value role within the built environment or a related sector such as civil engineering or utilities.

  • The ability to lead and motivate a matrix style team consisting of individuals from different business units (operations, communications etc.)

  • Experience in project management.

  • Influencing skills of both internal and external senior stakeholders.
