Acre is partnering with an international luxury fashion house in its quest to advance its sustainable business transformation. This newly created opportunity will develop internal and external communications strategies relating to the organisation's leading sustainability efforts and drive a flagship employee engagement programme.

Reporting directly to the Head of Sustainable Content, you will have the opportunity to influence narrative and storytelling around sustainability relating to key topics such as climate and social purpose, as well as play a key role in the embedding of a sustainability culture.

You will also have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and manage the external communications strategy and relevant assets including messaging, presentations, and social media platforms.

  • Engage internal employees, embedded sustainability mindset across the company

  • Project manage the flagship corporate partnerships and co-create educational content through collaborating with colleagues and internal teams

  • Curate sustainability content on the company's e-learning platform .

  • Take ownership of key communications initiatives such as the annual climate performance reports and sustainability content for the corporate website

  • Be the point of contact for external agencies and relevant partnerships

  • Partner with the corporate communications team on assets for the global PR community

You will leverage the following:

  • Ability to take on new challenges and 'connect the dots' to create a more sustainable business and future

  • Significant communications experience from either an in-house or agency environment

  • Proven track record and results from projects you have managed, e.g., employee engagement success and reputational impact

  • Evidential experience of sustainability topics, with sensitivity to relevant issues and willingness to adapt further

  • Storytelling skills combined with an editorial mindset and excellent writing capability

  • Strong ability to manage projects, create timelines and work in accordance with other teams and collaborations

  • Fluent English. A second language would also be valuable
