A specialist data provider servicing Responsible, Sustainable and Impact Investment firms is seeking a Senior Sustainable Equities Analyst to further expand and develop its impact measurement offering.

The company is backed by clients with over $1TN in AUM and is on a mission to simplify and improve impact measurement for investors, helping the transition to a more sustainable future.

You will work with some of the world's largest impact investors, aiding them in the analysis of their portfolios and helping to inform key investment decisions.

Key deliverables:

  • Measure the impact of all portfolios, initially focusing of the impact of company products and services including looking at the contribution of transformative technologies to achieving UN sustainability goals.

  • Help to scale the firm's pioneering approach to cover a greater number of firms and different types of investment portfolios.

  • Aid in the development of the firm's measurement methodology, incorporating the right mix of AI and human assessment.

  • Work closely with clients and internal engineering and science teams to further enhance the firm's product offering.

  • Play a key role in accelerating the depth and scalability of impact measurement. You will have at your disposal the most comprehensive dataset on social and environmental performance available.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in Investment Research as either an Equity or Investment Analyst.

  • Prior exposure to ESG research or impact investing and fluency in working with large amounts of data.

  • Sector-specific expertise (of particular interest would be familiarity with healthcare, energy, materials, water or waste) either via investment research or other roles (e.g. engineering, health).

  • The capability to translate complex quantitative findings into simple conclusions.

  • Strong communication skills, possessing the ability to effectively interact with investment managers, companies and science teams.

  • Advanced use of Excel applied in an investment setting.
