Our client is one of the most successful mixed-use development organisations in the UK.

From identifying new sites through to construction and subsequently operating sites, this organisation is embedded into major developments in the UK's largest cities.

Our client is looking to strengthen their team with the addition of this Social Value Manager. This broad role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to deliver initiatives that will have a direct impact on the local community from start to finish.

This role will be integral in delivering the social aspects of the ESG strategy for one of London's busiest districts. You will promote diversity and inclusion in the local area and work with the estate's stakeholders to ensure social value is being achieved.

As well as focusing on this area of London, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Social Value Lead to deliver on a range of other projects across the UK.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop a clear understanding of the aspirations of occupiers and the community on wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion.

  • Ensure an effective volunteering programme is maintained to increase wellbeing and inclusion on/around the Estate.

  • Collect and analyse data to effectively manage, monitor, and report on social value progress on a routine basis.

  • Work with construction contractors to ensure successful delivery of section 106.

  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders about progress and the latest trends in social value.

To excel in the role, you will bring:

  • An understanding of the issues underpinning wellbeing and inclusivity within London.

  • Wide-ranging interest in community and urban development.

  • A collaborative approach to delivery that takes others on the 'journey' works well within different teams whilst being a self-starter who is determined and able to see things through.

  • Financial management, including setting budgets and monitoring spending

This is a great opportunity for you to have a significant effect on key areas such as diversity and inclusion and health and wellbeing. Additionally, you will report to an experienced Social Value Lead and join an organisation that has a genuine commitment to benefitting the local community.

This is a London-based role that offers agile working and the opportunity to work from home.
