The Sustainability-linked Sovereign Debt Hub's (SSDH) mission is to accelerate the alignment of global finance with equitable, nature-positive outcomes. They sought to draw nature finance out as a central topic in sustainable finance, to build a strong agenda around its principal issues and opportunities, and to accelerate efforts to build nature (both risk and impact) into the heart of the financial world.

Key Responsibilities:

- To amplify its role in the sustainability-linked sovereign debt space, the Sovereign Debt Director will need to engage with specific governments and actively facilitate the process of structuring transactions.

- The SSDH will also need to serve as a central information clearinghouse for leading-edge news and developments in the KPI-debt linked space while advancing practice-based research and learning around emerging instruments in this area.

- The SSDH will also be creating a networked community of sovereigns, development finance institutions, investment banks and other financial intermediaries, institutional investors, and academic and civil society organizations that are actively linking opportunities to advance sustainability goals with debt issuance/restructuring opportunities through a performance framework.

Key Requirements:

- Experience in sustainability labelled sovereign debt issuance either from a DMO, an MDB, an investment bank sovereign capital market department, a sovereign advisory company or a financial market infrastructure entity

- Broad experience in sovereign debt structuring and government debt markets

- Direct experience with engaging with multiple stakeholders involved in (re)structuring sovereign debt transactions and with the capacity to organize and convene key parties

- A deep understanding of development finance, and specifically credit enhancement
