In turn, you will be supporting M2030's clients in enhancing their sustainability performance through adopting effective data collection methodologies and tools. A key aspect of the role will be to support the expansion of the M2030 platform capabilities in product footprinting and Scope 3 measurement, as enablers for supply chain owners and their suppliers to make more informed decisions on sustainability improvements and to secure progress towards Net Zero and other sustainability goals.

You will be responsible for:

  • Helping shape M2030's strategy for integrating product carbon footprinting (PCF) and Scope 3 data and methodologies into its core product offering

  • Informing M2030's product strategies by exploring, defining and prioritising customers' sustainability needs for key enhancement areas in M2030's platform

  • Curating and developing content around Scope 3 emissions, PCF, and wider sustainability topics for the new Knowledge Hub within the M2030 platform

  • Working with the Customer Success team to provide guidance to clients on sustainability reporting methodologies and capabilities within the platform

  • Authoring or contributing to thought-leadership content (blogs, white papers) on sustainability topics

You will bring:

  • Experience and expertise conducting either Scope 3 GHG or Product Carbon Footprints (PCFs) analysis and reports, aligned to recognised standards

  • Understanding of GHG reporting standards and frameworks, including GHG Protocols, SBTi industry pathways, ISO 14067/14044 or WBCSD's Partnership for Carbon Transparency (PACT)

  • Understanding of commonly used data sources for GHG emission factors and activity data

  • Experience conducting multi-criteria Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and use of LCA tools is desirable but not required

  • Similarly, experience and expertise in additional sustainability themes such as energy, waste, water, biodiversity and circularity would also be valuable

  • Industry experience within the automotive, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food & drink, retail or FMCG sectors would be welcomed

This role will offer hybrid working, with 1-2 days a week in Manufacture 2030's head office based in Oxford.
