Sustainability Coordinator OCI Fuels B.V. (1 FTE)

Position in the organisation Reports to: Commercial Manager OCI Fuels B.V.

The European head office of OCI's European Methanol Activities ("OMM") is located in Amsterdam. The Methanol and Fuel activities are wholly owned by OCI N.V., a publicly traded entity based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. OCI N.V. is a leading global producer and distributor of natural gas-based fertilizers and industrial chemicals used by agricultural and industrial customers. OCI Fuels B.V. is the global marketing arm for Bio-Fuels supplied to the Chemical and Fuel industry. OCI N.V.'s production capacity spans three continents and comprises approximately 14 million metric tons per year of nitrogen fertilizers, methanol, diesel exhaust fluid, melamine, and other natural gas-based products, serving agricultural and industrial customers around the world. OCI N.V. employs approximately 3,700 people and is listed on the Euronext in Amsterdam under the symbol "OCI". This role is related to all fuels activities in Europe.

Primary responsibilities and duties

  • Maintaining the mass balance for our green book;

  • Check incoming deliveries of sustainable material;

  • Liaise with the plant on the production of Bio-Methanol;

  • Issue proofs of sustainability for bio-methanol volumes supplied to the customers;

  • Generate demand and supply forecast;

  • Supply pricing curves to risk management;

  • Support pricing proposals for clients;

  • Guaranteeing the traceability of raw materials in the production chain;

  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge in the field of certification development;

  • Respond to changes in circular requirements

Candidate Profile

  • Holds a Bachelor/Master's degree in (Global Sustainability )Science

  • Affinity with sustainability

  • Deadline driven with project management skills

  • Abreast of industry updates, and market trends impacting the business

  • Proven ability to manage processes and projects

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills (English, Dutch is pre)
