Are you looking to make a major impact in your sustainability career by joining one of the world's largest diversified food companies? Acre is representing a FTSE 100 client, as it builds a new central sustainability team with a focus on driving engagement among its many operating companies.

As the Sustainability Manager, you will be the key point of contact for colleagues across group functions and operating companies where you will drive enhanced knowledge sharing, drive best practice in sustainability and deliver improved reporting. You will also be involved in ensuring the company is meeting investor requirements, as ESG topics move higher up the agenda.

Your opportunity:

  • Engage with internal stakeholders across group and operating companies in order to understand the company's Sustainability needs

  • Develop a deep understanding of the operating companies and act as a trusted adviser on all sustainability matters

  • Horizon scanning for opportunities, regulatory changes and potential reputation drivers in order to provide insights for internal stakeholders

  • Support Group responses to external stakeholder challenge to inform on the group position and to minimise any negative business impact

To be successful in this role, you will most likely have:

  • Experience in Food, FMCG or Retail sectors with a deep understanding of supply chain operations and stakeholder management background preferable

  • Interest in continuous learning in a rapidly changing landscape, with the ability to adapt to new priorities as needed.

  • Good knowledge of global sustainability issues and trends
