Sustainability Project Manager | Supply Chain

Are you a sustainability professional with an entrepreneurial mindset?

Acre is partnering with a leading global logistics and software provider, hosting supply chain digitisation solutions and sustainability insights. Looking to further establish their unique sustainability offering with this new opening; the Sustainability Manager will be solely responsible for their environmental offering and managing the existing clients in this space.

​

This opportunity will give you the scope to further develop a sustainability platform and tool within the wider organisation. You will do this by collaborating with fashion retail clients in the quest to visualise and illustrate their environmental footprints, supporting their sustainability targets and strategy.

​

You will have the freedom to:

​

• Pioneer the sustainable data platform by managing existing client relationships with the view to expand further in future

• Research environmental impacts and general sustainability trends, mainly within fashion retail

• Understand and deliver carbon foot-printing insights and visualisations

• Collaborate with the expert technical team who deliver data analysis and coding, supporting with the delivery and stakeholder management

• Have direct impact on international supply chains, offering sustainable solutions and bespoke insights

• Monitor CO2 emissions, water usage, waste management or toxic chemical production across a varied range of retail clients

• Represent the sustainability platform at relevant events and meetings

You will benefit from having the following:

• Demonstrable experience in sustainability, e.g., foot-printing, stakeholder engagement and project delivery

• In-depth understanding of common challenges and issues within complex supply chains

• Confidence taking on multiple tasks and projects, whilst delivering to the required time frame

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team

• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple channels of engagement

• Adaptability within a fast-paced environment

• Entrepreneurial mindset

• Willingness to travel for meetings, conferences and events
