Group Sustainability Projects Manager

Acre is delighted to be supporting the search for a new role with an international standards body whose mission is to share knowledge, innovation and best practice to people and organizations.

The Group Sustainability Projects Manager will support the organisation to deliver its sustainability strategy. The role will be responsible for researching and mapping activities to its sustainability objectives, interpreting the findings, and curating the evidence to demonstrate how the organisation enables sustainable development for the benefit of all its stakeholders and society.

The role:

  • Liaising with key business teams to collate data and report on the effectiveness of the sustainability strategy and alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals

  • Interpreting and presenting research findings to senior internal and external stakeholders

  • Providing content to internal communications and marketing teams to raise awareness and engagement across sustainability initiatives

  • Working with internal stakeholders to further integrate sustainability into operations, including Finance, Procurement, Compliance, Facilities, Internal Communications, Marketing

  • Collating data and case studies from relevant departments to track sustainability performance and support sustainability reporting, for audiences that include the UN Global Compact Progress Reports

Your profile:

  • Experience working within a consultancy or in-house sustainability team working with sustainability data and various reporting frameworks

  • Previous project management and analysis / research experience

  • Experience in working cross functionally with multiple stakeholders and deadlines

  • Good understanding of broader socio-economic and environmental sustainability issues

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant subject or equivalent experience
