Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to work in a dynamic, fast-evolving field? Our client is looking for a Sustainability Reporting Consultant to join their financial reporting team for a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of sustainability reporting for a leading financial services company.
In this role, you will help them meet the increasing demand for transparent sustainability disclosures, working closely with subject matter experts to ensure reporting meets the latest regulatory standards, including the ISSB and CSRD frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead or support the delivery of ESG disclosure requirements, ensuring alignment with evolving standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design ESG disclosures for external reporting, playing a pivotal role in governance processes, and supporting decision-making forums such as the Audit Committee
Prepare reports and papers to facilitate high-level discussions, ensuring our sustainability practices meet best practices
Coordinate with auditors to address ESG-related queries and ensure the integrity of the disclosures
Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments to ensure our disclosures are compliant and reflect the latest trends in sustainability
Requirements:
Qualified Accountant with a strong interest in sustainability and ESG reporting
Previous experience producing or auditing financial disclosures in a regulated environment, ideally with knowledge of TCFD, SFDR, or similar sustainability frameworks
A track record of successful project management and stakeholder engagement, especially with senior leaders.
