Acre is delighted to continue supporting a highly progressive luxury goods organisation in their search for a Sustainability Reporting Manager; a newly created role to drive coherence and consistency in organisational approach to reporting, disclosure and accountability for their bold ambitions on sustainability.

As the Sustainability Reporting Manager, you will manage data collection, aggregation and reporting in partnership with divisional and regional representatives. You will also play a key role in building internal expertise on valuation methodologies, working collaboratively to deliver performance related external communications to support the delivery of organisational strategy and goals.

You will be responsible for:

  • Working with other members of the corporate sustainability team to refine current and define any new metrics in line with the sustainability strategy

  • Leading and preparing the annual reporting process and aggregate reporting as well as trend analysis on sustainability KPIs to inform action plan progress and ensuring fulfilment of external reporting obligations

  • Driving training and change management processes within the broader community at the regional and divisional levels to improve data consistency and viability

  • Working with Finance and IT teams on driving automation of reporting processes

  • Coordinating the external assurance process for sustainability KPIs, helping implement best practice

Reporting into the Head of Sustainability Performance, as well as into the Global Sustainability team, you will have an exciting amount of exposure to ensure optimal collaboration and integration.

You will have:

  • Strong experience and passion for shaping and working on sustainability content delivery from either corporate or consulting environments

  • Knowledge of external reporting standards and the wider reporting landscape trends (integrated reporting, TCFD implementation, SDGs, Natural and Social Capital etc)

  • An appreciation for robust data with the tenacity to track down missing data, comfortable with making extrapolations where necessary

  • Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, and experience in working across all levels of an organisation

  • Intellectual curiosity and an independent, self-motivated personality
