Are you a Sustainability or ESG Reporting Professional seeking to develop further within a FTSE100 business with ambitious sustainability commitments and strong executive engagement?

Acre is partnering with a large, multi-branch retailing company, listed on the London Stock Exchange to support with the rapid expansion of their responsible business team with a new Sustainability Reporting Manager vacancy.

Reporting to the Head of Responsible Business, you will lead on the annual Responsible Business report process with support from a small team, internal stakeholders and external service providers.

With recently verified Science-Based Target and Forest Positive commitments, you'll have the opportunity to think strategically about how the organization measures and communicates sustainability performance; playing a crucial role in ensuring these targets are delivered.

You will also have the opportunity to:

  • Access an engaged leadership team providing regular updates on Responsible Business performance

  • Support the Human Rights manager in the production of statements in the focus of ethics in relation to the UK Modern Slavery Act

  • Project manage and oversee the data collection process for responsible business KPI's, with support from a Responsible Business Analyst

  • Collaborate with the Annual Report & Accounts team, integrating your work together as a centre of expertise for the brand

  • Co-ordinate the Sustainable Reporting team which includes internal and external specialists, each with a key responsibility and contribution to the overall reporting function

  • Be responsible for the team's growth strategy and transition over the coming years

You will leverage the following:

  • Thorough and relevant technical expertise of Corporate Sustainability Reporting, reporting standards and ESG ratings

  • Strong communication and leadership qualities

  • Capability of multi-tasking and working in a busy environment, adapting to changes during growth periods

  • Demonstrated experience of project management, stakeholder relations, and organizational skills
