Our client is a fast-growing global energy and sustainability consultancy, pioneering ESG and climate change solutions to multiple corporate and infrastructure sectors.

Joining their Energy and Sustainability team, you will sell to large and multinational organisations in the UK & Ireland. You'll be part of an organisation that thrives not only on creating a strategic vision but also on driving the client's solution across a multitude of decarbonisation levers.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct consulting with corporate clients on the creation and execution of strategic initiative

  • Delivering to improve our clients' corporate sustainability performance

  • Support sales team to deliver against revenue targets in line with overall growth plans

Person Requirements

  • At least three years of employment in a corporate sustainability role or in a consulting advisory role.

  • Ideally a bachelor's degree in sustainability, engineering, science, or business.

  • Experience within the financial or Private Equity sectors including due diligence, strategy, decarbonization, ESG.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including at c-suite and executive level. Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience and present in management, environmental, technical and other forums.

  • Experience with environmental reporting program requirements, regulatory or voluntary (e.g., SBTi, TCFD, GHG Protocol, SFDR, CDP)

  • Strong knowledge of corporate sustainability programs and the issues facing the leaders in this space

  • Experience managing multiple projects while meeting both time and budget commitments.

  • Ability to work independently and excellent team building, problem-solving, written and presentation skills.

  • Strong aptitude for critical, qualitative, and analytical thinking.

  • Highly skilled in Microsoft excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred additional skills and characteristics

  • Experience consulting on sustainability issues facing the financial sector in a commercial environment, with a strong knowledge of regulations, reporting and industry drivers (SBTi, CDP, TCFD, ESG, Fit for 55 etc.)

  • Subject matter expertise in sustainability or energy related topic desirable, for example: renewable energy, life cycle analysis, carbon foot printing, natural capital, Net Zero, Green Transition, Supply Chain Decarbonisation, emissions markets etc.

  • Must be fluent in English, another European language is preferable

  • Location: UK (remote working)
