Responsibilities:

  • Leading research with internal ENGIE experts and external resources on specific technology industry trends, markets, or sustainability technologies.

  • Structuring and leading analysis of data to develop unique insights and actionable sustainability roadmaps.

  • Developing and preparing high-quality client-facing materials, such as decks, discussion documents, and proposals.

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering impactful stakeholder meetings using best-in-class digital facilitation techniques.

  • Frequently collaborating with and receiving coaching from their senior leadership team of Directors and Managing Directors.

  • Management and coaching of junior team members to foster a collaborative working environment to encourage innovation and team member development at every stage of the engagement.

  • Execute go-to-market for tech clients.

Reporting to a Managing Director in California, this role will focus on leading new business development and directing a team to provide sustainability advisory services to their Technology Sector clients who are working to accelerate their climate change goal implementation.

A successful candidate will have a solid background in sustainability, a strong network in the technology industry, and experience as a management consultant and business developer.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a stellar record of academic achievement required; MBA or other post-graduate degree preferred.

  • A minimum of five years of professional consulting and technology industry experience required.

  • Solid consulting and program/project management skillset - collaborative teaming, financial analysis, problem solving, slide writing, communication, and facilitation.

  • Experience driving business development pursuits, engaging with senior stakeholders, and building relationships with prospective clients.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as autonomously.

  • Passionate about sustainability and innovative business solutions to achieve zero carbon; understanding of key decarbonization levers across the technology value chain.

This role will play an important role in their West Coast office advisory practice supporting global and multinational technology clients to achieve their carbon reduction and net-zero sustainability goals.
