You will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and design environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategies and initiatives and ensure that they meet overall corporate and strategic objectives

  • Drive and enable implementation of ESG initiatives through extensive project management; Track and monitor initiatives through the development of performance indicators, target-setting, tracking of progress against targets, etc.

  • Work closely with various teams, including Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (CRS), Manufacturing and Technical Services (MATS), Finance, Risk Management, Human Resources and various Business Units (BUs) to drive quarterly meetings to track and monitor ESG initiatives

  • Lead and facilitate the design and development of a digital platform to collate, drive, track and comprehensively report sustainability performance and targets at country/ BU level

  • Conduct and lead content for key meetings and presentations to the Olam Board, Olam shareholders, project sponsors and other senior leaders on the progress of sustainability projects

  • Oversee the collection and analysis of data from relevant internal stakeholders

  • Lead the development of the annual sustainability report

You will:

  • Have a strong passion for sustainability and be keen to make an impact on the ground in the agriculture sector

  • Possess c.10 years of experience in sustainability services at a consulting firm or in-house sustainability management especially in the agriculture and food industry

  • Be well-versed in relevant sustainability guidelines and frameworks (e.g. Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), TCFD)

  • Possess superior analytical aptitude and proactive problem-solving abilities
