This is a unique opportunity within an evolving global FMCG organization to drive the global strategy and leadership on Procurement Sustainability.

Key Requirements:

​

  • Support the development and execution of a sustainable sourcing strategy to embed environmental sustainability into the culture of Procurement

  • Assist with the integration of tools and processes to assess suppliers' performance against Responsible Sourcing Principles and Environmental Commitments.

  • Engage with key suppliers with environmental impacts, establish sustainability metrics and monitor progress

  • Develop and implement sustainable improvement programs in Procurement

  • Serve as the central point of contact for all interfaces with internal and external stakeholders on the subject of Environmental Sustainability in Procurement.

  • Track and report all procurement projects that align with environmental sustainability outcomes for internal and external stakeholder reporting

  • Contribute to Environmental Sustainability reporting and communication efforts for Procurement

  • Ensure continuous improvement by regularly monitoring emerging environmental sustainability trends, programs and issues. Update environmental standards based on industry research and best practices

Key Accountabilities:

​

  • 5+ years' work experience in sustainability

  • Solid practical experience in the area of sustainable procurement with a focus on the environment

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Good analytical skills

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Proven record in directing programs in multi-national and multi-cultural environments

  • Able to work autonomously

  • Fluent in English
