Senior Thematic Research Specialist

A financial services firm and provider of research and index products are seeking a Senior Thematic Research Specialist to join their growing Research function. You will be responsible for publishing novel research with a key focus on thematic investment developments.

You will also work with the firm's product teams on the creation of new indexes to reflect thematic trends.

​

As the Thematic Research Specialist, you will have impactful exposure to multiple groups such as research & design, index development, marketing & communications and many others.

​

Key responsibilities:

• Work with the Global Research & Design team to turn ideas into fully developed concepts

• Drive and generate thematic content tailored both to institutional and retail audiences

• Act as a thought leader in identifying key trends and themes to use innovative approaches to integrate these into indices

• Participate and present at client meetings, conferences, and industry panels as a subject matter expert

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Sales and Channel teams, to promote thematic content

• Publish compelling research papers and deliver high-quality presentations at client meetings, conferences, and industry panels

• Must be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Key experience:

• Hands-on experience in thematic equity research

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills

• Strong interest in ESG, knowledge of ESG indices and data

• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
