Acre has been retained by an innovator in industrial Carbon Capture solutions who are leading the way in developing a groundbreaking Carbon Capture and Sequestration technology with the potential to transform the global energy industry by significantly reducing carbon emissions and providing access to cheaper, more reliable power to communities around the globe.
As the Vice President of Commercial Strategy and Sales Operations, you will hold a pivotal position within the organization, responsible for establishing and executing end-to-end commercial operation processes. This role encompasses managing customers through the development process and overseeing all major commercial relationships.
This is a highly technical role which will require a deep level of experience in existing energy technologies such that you will be able to explain the economic benefits and advantages of deploying this technology in comparison to competitive solutions already on the market.
Key Success Criteria:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - MSc and/or MBA is preferred.
Years of experience in both a product development/project execution (engineering) role and a commercial client-facing position in sales/business development/commercial strategy
Deep knowledge of existing energy technologies, ideally for both utility-scale/transmission level and large industrial/commercial applications.
Proficiency in contract law and commercial terms.
Passion and drive to help scale an early-stage organization working within a highly competitive industry.
