VP Sustainable Finance

Acre is working with a leading global bank to help them hire a VP of Sustainable Finance for their Dubai team. Reporting to the Head of Sustainable Finance, you will be working on driving origination and developing strong client relationships in the Middle East and Africa regions.

You will be responsible for:

• Driving sustainable finance origination across products for the Middle East and Africa

• Developing client strategies and positioning the bank as a leader in Sustainable Finance

• Managing external and internal stakeholder engagement to promote sustainable finance and sustainability in the region

• Collaborating with relationship teams to develop sector and client-level transition plans

• Building team capability as a centre of excellence to advise clients on ESG solutions, best practices and emerging thematic areas

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of various banking products and solutions

• Ability to work independently and help scale the sustainable finance business

• Some experience in the Middle East and Africa region in banking roles

• Good understanding of sustainable finance, while helpful, is not a prerequisite
