Acre is partnering with global communications, advertising, PR, and Technology business based in the UK. The business is on a global transformation journey, and this is an opportunity to join their global Sustainability team to provide interim maternity cover for their Associate Director of Sustainability Reporting with an ASAP start for an estimated 9 month fixed term contract.

They are seeking an expert on sustainability reporting and management systems, where you will be driving their annual Sustainability reporting cycle to ensure that progress against the organisations sustiainability strategy is being measured, managed, and reporting on with transparency and integrity.

What you'll be doing:

You will be overseeing the businesse's sustainability data reporting strategy and program, delivering decision useful data and metrics which enable their leaders to deliver against their sustainability strategy and keep the organisation ahead of rapidly changing regulatory, investor and client data disclosure.

Reporting in to the Global Sustainability Director, you will be accelerating their leadership position by continually improving their ranking in external surveys, benchmarking and investor indices.

You will also be designing, implementing and managing the management and control environment for the sustainability strategy in order to deliver continual improvement in sustainability performance.

What you need:

  • Strong Sustainability experience

  • Ability to rapidly assimilate to a new business environment and systems

  • Comprehensive knowledge of existing emergent sustainability and ESG reporting requirements. This includes:

    • Major indices (e.g. CDP, DJSI, GEI);

    • Reporting standards and frameworks (e.g. GRI, TCFD, GHG Protocol);

    • Emerging areas of reporting practice or regulatory development (e.g. the EU Taxonomy, biodiversity).

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Ability to work across different functions and different businesses within complex organitsions.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement across multi-functional stakeholders.
