Primary Responsibilities:

  • Validate and develop carbon offset protocols, carbon market registries and policies, and analyze GHG emissions.

  • Developing high-quality client-facing materials and deliverables (Power Point presentations, reports, summary documents, proposals).

  • Managing clear, structured, and effective client communication.

  • Demonstrate technical knowledge and mastery of client decarbonization challenges and needs.

  • Conducting research with external resources on specific industry trends, markets, technologies, or policies; developing and continuously updating knowledge hubs and databases.

  • Structuring and leading expert analysis of data to develop unique insights.

  • Developing and continuously improving leave-behind analytical models, covering technical, economic, and environmental evaluations.

  • Frequently collaborating with and receive coaching from our senior leadership team.

ENGIE Impact is seeking a Carbon Markets Consultant, a passionate, analytical, highly-collaborative and detailed-oriented critical thinker who can communicate insights with precision while working on a variety of workstreams across client assignments and support client proposals.

As a Consultant, you will work on internal and external engagements alongside ENGIE Impact's Sustainability Solutions team of expert consultant.

Qualifications:

  • Professional experience in decarbonization, clean energy, and sustainability related subjects.

  • Background in carbon markets, GHG accounting, and familiarity with renewable energies.

  • Strong consulting skillset.

  • A minimum of three years of professional experience.

  • Client-facing project delivery experience with a top management consulting firm.

  • Capacity to engage with senior stakeholders and work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Bachelor's degree with a stellar record of academic achievement required.

  • Superb data analysis and modeling skills in Microsoft Excel (or similar) is required.
