  • Innovate and drive improvements in the carbon markets and efficiencies for scaling carbon project development opportunities.

  • Thoughtful leader, ability not only to run a world-class technical carbon team but also to interface with communities, the market, stakeholders, senior government officials, technology platforms, and implementation partners.

Who are you and what you bring:

  • You have at least 20 years of experience in the carbon markets.

  • Significant experience managing teams and serving leadership roles in international organisations.

  • Experience in technical carbon assessment, design, and development work for voluntary carbon projects and a deep understanding of carbon markets.

  • Having a deep understanding of inherent risks and related mitigants of carbon projects, particularly pertaining to technical carbon issues and related (eg FPIC) requirements.

  • Keen awareness of existing and emerging technologies to scale carbon project opportunities, as well as other trends in carbon offset markets.

  • Demonstrated capacity for being an industry leader with the passion and drive to excel in technical carbon work.

  • High level of integrity and passion for developing projects that have significant co-benefits for communities, biodiversity, and the environment.

  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills would be advantageous.
