Land Life partners with both landowners in the private and public sector and leading "bluechip" corporates such as (inter)national financial institutions and consumer brands. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Amsterdam, Land Life is experiencing rapid growth in all their regions.
The team is currently made up of over 70 professionals in the Netherlands, Spain, Australia and the United States. To strengthen Land Life's partnership and commercial capabilities at board level, they're looking for a Chief Growth Officer.
The position: Chief Growth Officer
Develop and deliver on the strategy to scale Land Life's acquisition of high-quality reforestation projects and customers.
Build, adapt and deliver the relevant business models that will incentivize landowners and customers to scale their work with Land Life.
Build and develop the business development and partnership teams. Develop and deliver on growth metrics set with the CEO.
Develop the partnerships strategy, including potential JV's M&A, and manage the company's global land access pipeline.
Manage out of HQ the exploration of new markets that could scale into new regional hubs.
Manage via the Head of MarComs and his/her team to ensure MarComs elevates the company's profile and brand through its PR & Events, coalitions and associations and campaigns.
Give input to the strategy of all aspects of Land Life, contribute to the overall development of the company and lead by example.
The ideal candidate
Extensive experience in building long-term partnerships and strategic business development.
Knowledge of and experience within land use, forestry, agriculture, renewable energy, or a strongly related industry.
An international track record in scale-ups or rapidly growing companies. Strong leadership experience in multi-level teams, preferably with an international scope.
Flexible personality - able to build structures, but with the fluidity that a scale-up environment requires.
A passion for sustainability and reforestation and a drive to work in nature restoration.
Located in Amsterdam, or willing to relocate to Amsterdam.
