Role Description:
As a Climate Consultant, you would be responsible for leading and driving market outreach, and driving the technical & delivery aspects of projects and accounts in the financial services sector. Some of the key attributes the consultant is expected to have are as below;
You are a high performer in the climate and ESG consulting space with at least 11-13 years of working in a consulting firm.
Your key strength is consultative selling with strong communication skills.
You are structured, organized and like to take on responsibility.
You are self-driven, autonomous, and can adapt well to a remote-collaboration team.
You have strong and credible experience working in the financial sector including PE, infrastructure, Banks, funds or other relevant organizations.
You bring with you a strong network and sectoral expertise (financial).
You have excellent business acumen, with a keen eye for recognizing new opportunities both in the short run and the long run.
Your positive mindset allows you to face challenges with enthusiasm and learn from setbacks.
You like to constantly learn new things.
Sustainability as a mission is important to you and ideally, you have already gained some experience in the field of sustainable transformation.
You are a team player, and the success of your colleagues is just as important to you as your own progress.
Some of the skills you would be required to have to excel in this role are as below;
Strong communication skills.
Deep network and work experience working in the financial markets.
Knowledge of working across various investment /lending sectors.
Detailed knowledge of the entire lifecycle of a typical investment/ lending process.
In-depth Knowledge and experience of how ESG and Climate risks are applicable to the financial sector.
The primary focus is business development, along with designing and writing a commercial proposal, delivering assignments and producing deliverables.
Thought leadership and representation at events.
Account and relationship management.
The Ideal candidate should have 11-13+ years of relevant experience in consulting. The candidate should primarily have experience in project delivery and management.
