Commercial Director, Impact Investing

We are working on a new search to find a commercial leader for a new Sustainable & Impact investing boutique, covering all asset classes, that will sit on the platform of a global investment management business.

As the group establishes this new responsible investment management business, this role offers a unique opportunity and will be critical, working with the group CEO to build the business.

​

The goal is to create one of the world's leading RI & Impact investment managers with the following core principles:

• Authentic: in its desire and approach to improve outcomes for society through thoughtful allocation of capital

• Above Market Rates of Return: All investment strategies must generate strong risk adjusted market rates of return above generally accepted market indices

• Innovative: in terms of investment management strategies or solutions, as well as client experience

• Leadership: Leads and supports clients and the RI community in the growth of this space

• Culture: mission driven creating alignment with clients

Key responsibilities:

​

• Leading with technical expertise, insight, thought leadership and a deep understanding of client needs to enable achievement of responsible investment sales outcomes (net flows) across client channels e.g institutional, family office, financial advisers and direct.

• Represent the investment team in client pitches and industry events - able to be the "investment voice"

• To develop firm's sales strategy across priority client markets, enabling responsible investment sales (net flows) outcomes for the UK and the US, and

• Present at conferences, events and client events on responsible investing, investment markets and portfolio construction
