Acre are pleased to be supporting an award-winning sustainability technology company, who are seeking an experienced Commissioning & Project Engineer to join their skilled team during a period of rapid growth.
Our client is currently delivering over €65,000,000 in energy savings in the last 5 years to an ambitious group of office, hotel, and shopping centre owners. The client are experiencing significant growth and looking to hire a number of key roles for the London office which will assist in the delivery of exciting new projects across Europe.
The purpose of the Commissioning & Project Engineer role is to work as part of the project team. This role requires a strong technical understanding of monitoring systems together with strong abilities in planning, coordinating, managing, and documenting our client's energy efficiency monitoring projects
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Using a strong technical background to formulate monitoring solutions across different platforms and protocols (BACnet, MODBUS etc)
Mapping of meters and monitoring points
Commissioning of monitoring systems
Liaising with and meeting with clients, site teams, sub-contractors, and vendors on all relevant aspects of the project
Ensuring the allocated projects are delivered on time and on budget and provide guidance and coordination for the Project delivery team

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Technical understanding of MODBUS metering. Addressing of meters and mapping of monitoring systems using MODBUS protocol
Technical exposure of BACnet and BMS systems
Proven history of system integration
Excellent computer skills, strong understanding of networking and proficient in Excel and other Microsoft products
Excellent understanding of how electrical sub-metering systems work and how to install these - with a focus towards CT driven meters
Availability to travel to sites within the UK and Europe
