Future-Fit Foundation is seeking an exceptional individual with a passion for changing the status quo to join their team in London.

As a registered charity founded in July 2013 and based in London, UK, Future-Fit's vision is a future in which everyone on Earth can prosper. Given the urgency and scale of today's environmental and socioeconomic challenges, realising this vision will demand rapid and radical changes in the way our global economy works.

Future-Fit's work centres on developing the Future-Fit Business Benchmark, promoting its use and building a partner ecosystem to accelerate its adoption. The Benchmark is a free-to-use, open source tool designed to equip business leaders and investors with the means to recognise, reward and guide breakthrough actions that create value both for companies and society as a whole.

The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the whole team, both on discrete projects and contributing to the ongoing evolution of the Benchmark.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting early adopter companies and investors as they seek to apply the Benchmark within their business, across their value chains, and in their ESG analysis and engagement activities.

  • Helping to prepare and facilitate discussions with companies and investors, including assisting with the facilitation of workshops, meetings and stakeholder engagement.

  • Assisting in the development of online tools by defining the needs of companies and investors and piloting them with Development Council members.

  • Representing Future-Fit Foundation at external events to speak about the findings of the project.

  • Contributing to the ongoing development and refinement of the Future-Fit Business Benchmark methodology and associated content (reporting guidelines, training materials, etc.).

Required Experience:

The successful candidate must have:

  • Experience in corporate reporting and/or engagement with companies or investors tied to improving environmental and social performance.

  • Good knowledge of the Sustainable Development Goals.

  • Strong numerical and data analysis skills.

  • Ability to think laterally, creatively and strategically, with the ability to synthesise complex information and develop a simple, yet compelling response.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong inter-personal skills.

  • An appetite for working in an entrepreneurial environment.

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have a strong interest in environmental and societal change and a proven commitment to delivering impact;

  • Believe in the need to mobilise business to address today's biggest sustainability issues;

  • Are proactive self-starters, able to work independently with minimal supervision and set and maintain deadlines for themselves;

  • Can thrive in and contribute significantly to a small, fun, highly ambitious, entrepreneurial team.

This is a full-time role and will be based primarily in central London, with the ability for flexible working and occasional international travel. This is an outstanding opportunity to work for a dynamic and entrepreneurial organisation as part of a growing team.
