About the role
Ramboll is seeking a senior-level consultant with deep expertise in corporate sustainability and climate change with the passion to help build the Strategic Sustainability Consulting business. The individual who joins Ramboll will lead the Decarbonization practice, which entails setting the strategy, leading business development, and overseeing team management, while guiding project delivery.
Key roles & responsibilities:
Provide overall leadership for defined practice, including developing long-term client relationships, building sales pipeline, ensuring high-quality project delivery, and growing and building the capacity of the required team to deliver against agreed-upon practice targets
Partner with SSC leadership to drive sales, bringing defined expertise to building credibility and developing client relationships
Oversee project delivery with a focus on client management, quality assurance, and building deep, long-term relationships that position Ramboll as the partner of choice for our clients
Collaborate with Ramboll's engineering, energy, water, and EHS experts to deploy integrated sustainability solutions as a marketplace differentiator
Drive innovation and thought leadership within focus area(s) to stay ahead of client needs and support brand and positioning efforts
Build sector / offering specific capacity within the team, including leading recruiting efforts, providing formal and informal learning opportunities, and driving career development for junior team members
Key skills & experience:
Proven record of accomplishment with project management roles in strategy and/or business transformation projects with large private sector clients
Demonstrated aptitude for building client relationships and generating sales of consulting projects
Ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies to a wide audience
Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with various stakeholders while directing internal teams
An aspiring expert and leader in climate change, willing to expand knowledge and abilities through continuous learning and networking
Strong insight into business operations and implementation to drive change
