WWF is a science based, non-partisan, civil society organisation, whose mission is to stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment and to build a future in which people live in harmony with nature. They do this by conserving the world's biological diversity, ensuring that the use of renewable natural resources is sustainable and promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption.
There are many special things about WWF. A prestigious brand. A longstanding commitment to conservation going back almost six decades. A global reach, with activities in all almost 100 countries. Strong ethical principles that underpin all their work. A science-based approach that makes them a respected conservation voice. And a powerful spirit of collaboration - something WWF call 'together possible' - that has built many successful global partnerships with 5+ million supporters and 30+ million followers on social media.
