As ESG Director, you will have the opportunity to join a high performing, growing international business committed to delivering its ESG pledges via the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Reporting to the Managing Director of International Marketing & Communications, you will be responsible for establishing and delivering the ESG function for the firm, advising on all areas of ESG best practice and our international pledge to 'Make a Difference'.

Core responsibilities

  • Become UN SDGs centre of excellence for DC Advisory

  • Lead the implementation of strategies developed by international committees for:

    • Sustainability

    • Inclusion & Diversity

    • Wellbeing

  • Advise on industry KPIs best practice

  • Implement KPIs reporting framework for all offices

  • Manage all UN SDGs communications (internal and external)

  • Roll-out internal ESG education programme

  • Advise on industry / third party accreditations and partnerships

  • Provide direction for charitable giving initiatives

The Individual

  • 7+ years' experience within an in-house ESG team or similar, ideally across professional or financial services

  • A track record in leading and delivering ESG programmes and strategy implementation, with specific experience in climate action, science-based targets, and climate reporting

  • Experience in Inclusion & Diversity and Well being is desirable

  • Senior stakeholder engagement experience with strong influencing ability

  • Deep understanding and experience in driving a 'green' culture change in a complex international business

  • An ability to translate complex scenarios, communicate to difference audiences with exceptional presentation skills

  • Ambitious, enthusiastic and solutions-focused

  • Exceptional project management skills

  • Nice to have: Understanding of the corporate finance / private equity landscape and increasing focus on ESG
