For decades, scientists, leaders, climate activists, and everyday people have been sounding the alarm about changes to our global climate, with only modest results. We must engage people in a different way if we hope to impact the trajectory of climate change. That's what they do at Climate Interactive.

Climate Interactive (CI) is a not-for-profit think tank with strong global reach that makes complex systems understandable so that decision-makers, NGOs, and citizens can understand how to address the biggest challenges affecting our lives on Earth.

If you feel passionate about driving durable, positive impact on climate change, this might be the role for you...

Together with MIT, CI builds real-time, interactive simulators that help leaders understand the impact of various scenarios and policy decisions on global temperature rise. The goal of these products is decision support and bringing transparency and education to people at all levels.

To date, CI's simulators has been used by over 400,000 people in 128 countries ranging from Heads-of-State to bankers to students. In fact, the Obama Administration and the Chinese Government used their C-ROADS simulator to help secure the 2014 US-China bi-lateral deal that set up the Paris Agreement. Since then, they've briefed over 130 members of Congress and were named the "Top US Energy and Environment Think Tank."

Intrigued?

Climate Interactive's brand is Grounded Hope. As we look at the timeline and mission for limiting global temperature rise, the news is often bleak and discouraging. Their simulators bring clarity and insight grounded in science to a field that has been riddled with ambiguity. And ultimately, they can show people why there is reason to hope, and how to get there.

Are you a mission-oriented operations leader with an entrepreneurial mindset? Look no further.

Considering the size of their team, Climate Interactive has an outsized global reach and impact. With ambitions to grow their global footprint and impact, they are seeking a strong Director of Operations to help the business scale, support fundraising initiatives, and level-up the small-but-effective global team.
