Acre is pleased to be partnering with one of the world's premier commercial real estate brokerage and investment firms to identify a Technical Energy Consultant to join its expanding Sustainability Consultancy Team. Working alongside FTSE 100 companies, the successful candidate will drive large scale energy reduction programmes through the delivery of services including energy audit and EPC advisory.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Identify and implementing sustainability strategies
Delivering end to end energy management programmes in place including emissions performance reporting.
Developing technical solutions to reduction carbon emissions
Establish energy performance strategies
Conducting Energy Audits and understanding BMS
This exciting opportunity will be working with other energy management specialists within the team and across the wider Fortune 500 service functions, including but not limited to the Property & Asset Management, Property & Development Services and the Corporate Occupier teams.
You Will Also Have:
A degree (preferably Masters) in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Energy Management, or another relevant topic
Experience of working within commercial property, including an understanding of landlord and tenant relationships
An understanding of building energy audits, with an ability to advise on energy reduction measures and renewable energy technologies
Experience quantifying energy and water usage, waste management and recycling in buildings (either new or preferably existing)
An ability to communicate and engage clients such as, Property & Fund Managers, on technical issues and translating complex concepts into clear and understandable language
Ideally a current member or seeking membership of a professional body i.e. CIBSE, IMECHE, Energy Institute or another appropriate professional body.
