Are you a driven graduate or early career professional with a passion for Sustainability and making a positive change to the Environment?

Acre is collaborating with a high impact, global retailer on a number of newly created environmental roles, scaling their 120 strong ethical trade and environmental sustainability function.

In this newly created role you will be supporting the company to deliver its Sustainability strategy, supporting with programme management, compliance, reporting, and their Environmental Management System.

In this exciting new role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support the management of all sustainability activities

  • Assist with external stakeholder engagement, including industry organisations and partnerships. You will also maintain relationships with local and regional stakeholders e.g. NGO's, identifying collaboration opportunities

  • Gather data for Environmental Sustainability reporting needs

  • Work closely with other internal teams, including Finance and Legal

  • Add creative support to development of Environmental Sustainability Strategy

  • Provide admin support for supplier environmental sustainability monitoring platforms: CleanChain and HIGG

You will be:

  • An early career professional with a strong drive and commitment to making an impact in Sustainability

  • Familiar with Environmental Sustainability e.g. through internships, work experience, or studies

  • Organised and a good communicator

  • Comfortable with IT, database management and reporting

  • Knowledgeable of global sustainability issues and trends and in-depth knowledge specifically of the European market in relation to sustainability

  • A passionate self-starter who is results driven in a fast paced environment
