Acre is working in partnership with a highly regarded sustainable investment management firm, to recruit an ESG Analyst to join the listed equities team. Our clients' strategies are focused on opportunities that arise from the transition to a sustainable economy. A commitment to stewardship and active ownership are also important factors for success.
Working closely with investment colleagues who integrate ESG into their investment research and who lead on company engagement with their holdings, this is a unique chance to contribute, learn and develop in a dynamic and fast-paced team.
This newly created ESG analyst position is broad and varied, offering the chance to be involved with:
The on-going development of the firm's proprietary ESG analysis and methodologies
Contributing to sustainability research
Writing and contributing to thought-leadership work and position pieces
Prioritising, organising and leading ESG engagement meetings with investee companies
Participating in the impact measurement, analysis and reporting process
Managing sustainability and ESG related questions, questionnaires and client reports
Presenting the firm's ESG and sustainability capabilities to clients and external audiences
Participating in responsible and sustainable investment-related industry working groups
We're open to a range of candidate backgrounds and levels of experience. Candidates with ESG experience gained in an investment context, or candidates who are keen to apply their sustainability/ESG experience in an investment context are also welcome. For example sustainability experience gained in industry, working with companies to improve business performance in relation to ESG risks, opportunities and sustainability policy change is also welcome.
