Acre is partnering with a highly regarded and long-established global asset manager to appoint a newly created ESG Integration Manager position based in the London office.

Working across global offices with investment teams investing in a variety of strategies across various asset classes including listed equity, fixed income, multi asset, alternatives and private markets, this is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in the next stage of integrating ESG and sustainable investment factors across the firm.

With solid commitment from the Executive team and having heavily invested in new technology and a proprietary data approach to enhance existing sustainable investing capabilities and launch new strategies, our client offers a compelling culture to best support the successful candidate.

This is an exciting chance to play a pivotal role in advancing the already strong ESG credentials and commitment our client holds, to more innovation through greater ESG understanding for investment colleagues for their specific funds, for example how human capital, physical climate risk and commitment to Net Zero emissions targets all contribute to strengthening existing strategies and can support the creation of new ones. As part of this, you'll also be responsible for creating and implementing specific ESG integration desk plans based on identified objectives and requirements with individual investment desks.

Required:

  • Strong communication, writing and presentation skills

  • The ability to influence and build relationships with a range of stakeholders in global locations

  • Ability to bring together a wide range of ideas and conversations within the firm and act effectively as a 'connecting agent'

  • Robust analytical skills from a sustainability/ESG / sustainable investment perspective

Advantageous is an understanding of key ESG issues and how they are relevant for investors across different asset classes, along with the CFA or IMC qualification.

We're open to candidate background and level of experience. Candidates with ESG / sustainable investment experience gained in an investment context, or candidates who are keen to apply their sustainability/ESG experience in an investment context are also welcome.
