Acre has partnered with CLS Holdings; an FTSE250 office space specialist, to secure an ESG Manager to work directly alongside their Head of Sustainability.

You will play a crucial role in the practical delivery of the strategy. Developing close, collaborative relationships with other departments and suppliers in the UK, France & Germany will be essential to success, working with them to co-ordinate the effective roll out of sustainability interventions.

Your core responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the preparation of the Sustainability section of the Group's Annual Report including Scope 3 emissions report and social value

  • Lead Environmental programmes relating to the CLS portfolio, supply chain, and corporate initiatives (e.g. waste/energy/water reduction, sustainable travel, supply chain/tenant collaborations, construction impacts)

  • Work collaboratively with the Sustainability Analyst to prepare annual reporting to the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark survey ("GRESB") and for green loans

  • Act as the key Point of Contact for third-party suppliers

  • Conduct climate change risk assessments

  • Support the Head of Sustainability to implement initiatives to address issues such as energy use, climate change, resource conservation, recycling, pollution reduction, waste elimination, transportation, wellbeing, and building design to further address and develop the sustainability strategy

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in and aptitude for written communication including policy and report writing

  • Passion for Sustainability and highly motivated to make a positive impact environmentally and socially
