One of London's most established property developers is seeking an ESG Manager, they are committed to playing an active role in addressing the climate crisis.

Reporting to the Head of ESG, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of ESG outcomes for their development pipeline through all aspects of the programme: from early design (brief setting through to planning submission) through to detailed design, procurement, and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate the aspiration of the ESG Strategy and ESG Project Brief into clear objectives for projects and work in collaboration with Project Directors to deliver them efficiently

  • Keep projects on track to achieve targeted ESG outcomes by managing and influencing internal and external project design and construction stakeholders.

  • Develop project briefs and scope of services for specialist consultants on design teams; manage relationships and quality of output related to the delivery of environmental performance

  • Collaborate with internal engineering functions to drive operational carbon reductions and successful adoption and delivery of NABERS Design for Performance on projects

In order to succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A strong technical design experience and have the ability to influence a wider range of internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience in real estate design and the construction sector

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and engage with a variety of stakeholders

  • Communication skills to translate complex technical ESG topics to wide internal and external audience
