ESG Quantitative Researcher

An Investment Management firm is seeking an ESG Quantitative Researcher to conduct research and development on ESG factors, models and ratings. The quantitative researcher will assist with the execution of ESG ratings, portfolio assessments, and quantify data to deliver portfolio construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and develop ESG analytics for measuring and improving the management of ESG within portfolios

  • Be involved in the full research process: idea generation, data collection, modelling, and delivery of strategies to key stakeholders

  • Collaborate in a team with researchers, and portfolio managers, and contribute to custom-built IT platform;

Key Experience:

  • Strong interest in ESG and sustainability

  • Deep understanding of math, statistics and econometrics

  • Keen interest in the financial markets and investing

  • Aptitude with programming languages and statistical software (e.g., Python, MATLAB, SQL, VBA)

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, math, or the physical sciences, or from a highly quantitative economics or finance program
