Acre is supporting JCB in the search for a Group Environmental & Sustainability General Manager (GM) who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and embedding the environmental sustainability strategy across the business.

As the Group Environmental & Sustainability GM you will:

  • Identify and embed best practice for environmental sustainability across manufacturing operations, supply chain and engineering innovations.

  • Oversee compliance within environmental, energy and carbon legislation.

  • Agree and deliver company-wide Science Based Targets.

  • Work at all levels of the business to build, shape and further evolve the Group's sustainability narrative and vision.

  • Provide expertise and support across the business on environmental sustainability matters.

  • Represent the business externally with key stakeholder groups, suppliers, and customers.

As the Group Environmental & Sustainability GM, you will be comfortable engaging stakeholders of all levels and able to work with them to integrate sustainability practices into their day-to-day agendas.

You will have:

  • Strong environmental sustainability experience within manufacturing, energy, construction, or infrastructure.

  • Technical knowledge in environmental management and impact, carbon strategy, waste management, and supply chain sustainability.

  • Understanding of tools for measuring sustainability and impacts.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
