Acre is supporting JCB in the search for a Group Environmental & Sustainability General Manager (GM) who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and embedding the environmental sustainability strategy across the business.
As the Group Environmental & Sustainability GM you will:
Identify and embed best practice for environmental sustainability across manufacturing operations, supply chain and engineering innovations.
Oversee compliance within environmental, energy and carbon legislation.
Agree and deliver company-wide Science Based Targets.
Work at all levels of the business to build, shape and further evolve the Group's sustainability narrative and vision.
Provide expertise and support across the business on environmental sustainability matters.
Represent the business externally with key stakeholder groups, suppliers, and customers.
As the Group Environmental & Sustainability GM, you will be comfortable engaging stakeholders of all levels and able to work with them to integrate sustainability practices into their day-to-day agendas.
You will have:
Strong environmental sustainability experience within manufacturing, energy, construction, or infrastructure.
Technical knowledge in environmental management and impact, carbon strategy, waste management, and supply chain sustainability.
Understanding of tools for measuring sustainability and impacts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
